Idler pulley
Hey everyone!
So I have the Edelbrock supercharger my my '12 camaro and have broken 2 tensioners already and am on my third one that I have yet to install. Talking with edel brock, they think it may not be a tensioner issue being that I've used their upgraded tensioner both times. Talking with my coworker who has helped me install everything, we looked at my car and think the idler pulley next to the tensioner may have a bad bearing. I want to replace the idler pulleys but can't find any specific part numbers for them that came with the kit. My question is: Can I just use any idler pulley to replace them with from a parts store? What would you all recommend? Its race season and I'd really like to be able to do WOT runs without breaking my tensioner again. Thanks in advance for any and all advice! |

Edelbrock should be able to give you the part # and/or order one directly from them...I would be skeptical on a parts store pulley unless it's an exact match with some sort of limited warranty...
