The boat might be a gel-coat finish. Check out Marine31 for awesome boat care products. You might be surprised at how easy that cleans up.

Good to know for the future... As for now, that boat has seen the worst and will probably leave it that way. Lots of memories in that thing, surprised it even floats! LOL
