?? drive without engine cover/fuse box cover???
engine cover and fuse box cover off for hydrodipping...
will it hurt to drive the car without those in place...good weather, of course. I wouldn't drive in the rain without the fuse box lid. thanks!

Nope, did it when I was painting my fuse box cover. And well I drive without the engine cover 24/7 through all sorts of weather. no problems yet

I would still cover the fuse box with something, even a plastic bag with some tape temp to keep any moisture or fine debris away from entering the box. The engine cover is just for looks so you can keep it off permanently if you choose.

My first thought was to cover the fuse box as mentioned above. Just wasn't sure about the engine cover.
