1LE TPW 12/3 GROUP

The 11/12 group had there own thread and thought we might have a little fun with it too. Anyone else have the same TPW of 12/3? Seems like a lifetime away, especially after listening to the lucky one's that have there's already!
Happy motoring ladies and gentlemen!!!!!!!

My dealer has one scheduled for that week. Doesn't look like I'll purchase though due to the very low trade in offer made on my 10' 1SS :(

Would give me supplier pricing + a rebate on 1LE msrp but still out the door price was way too much just to upgrade. What deals on 1LE have others received (pm me)

when my car arrives at dealership, how can I aviod any salesmen doing burnouts with my car and how can I avoid them puting in 87 octane which resets the computer to lower performance? I read on this fourm most 1les delivered with 15 to 20 miles on the car.

First off the TPW is the 'week' your car is supposed to be built. I had a TPW of 11/12, and it was built on 11/15 and is supposed to ship on Tuesday after getting the hood wrap this weekend. Hmmmmm...avoid burnouts I guess you really cant. If they do put 87 octane in you can pule the fuze and reset the computer anyway. Search fuze pull. I was told the place where the hood gets wrapped is about 14 miles round trip from the Oshawa plant, so that explains the mileage on the car when delivered.

As far as the hood wrap goes, that makes sense.I brought it up to my salesman,i am on the Costco auto program, so they have to be on the up-n-up.He told me that if the car wasn't done at the plant, and had to be taken somewhere to be wrapped that they would truck it there. The risk of someone driving an unlicensed car and crashing it,that is under GM control,GM would be sued. That makes sense too, so if we are lucky im right if not then :(

The cars are driven to the shop which is abut a 13 mile round trip. Probably a lot faster and less expensive than putting them on loading trucks.
