okay, you said friends though, if they got it from their friend and gave it to me, but i said they were my friend too would that work out? i know this sounds bad.... and i think i know someone who works for gm but i always need to have backup just incase.

Yes that would work, BUT the friends and family thing is only given to the employee once a month and its only for 1 vehicle.. so its kinda limited and generally employees are selective on who they give it to.

I really wish GM would release this information about supplier and military discount. It would make my decisions so much easier!

The dealership that I put my $1k down at said that they don't know what their allotment is. They said I was either 5 or 6 on their list.

But then they also lied and said that with supplier discount they lose money. Stupid car salesmen.

They are lying, they have a guide alotment that is available in the system. Might want to find another dealer...
