Well I was going to pay to have the springs installed to save myself a little time and called a local shop here and they wanted nearly $500 for the install with alignment. He wanted to charge $89 (4+ hours) for labor and $99 for the alignment. These guys are supposed to be performance specialist and it takes them longer to install springs then it would for me to do it on jack stands with no air tools? It was hard not to laugh when I heard his quote!

If you did the sway bars you should have no problem with the springs. My biggest question has to do with tightening the suspension components up on a drive on rack with a load vs tightening up on stands. I have read you get a better ride if its tightened up on a drive on rack?

Installed my springs today and the car looks unbelievable! I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I also found this article in the Detroit News, it's pretty interesting.

I have not noticed an improvment in gas mileage since I installed my springs/sways. For some reason I take my turns much more aggressively.
I can't for the life of me figure out why?

Did your car settle more after alignment?
After the springs were installed I did not notice much difference in ride height compared to stock Camaros and Eibach equiped Camaros. I did notice a difference in the stiffness though. I havent gotten an alignment done yet maybe thats why? |

Does lowering the car improve the sight out of the rear window at all? Is there any improvement with sightlines out of the car at all? Just wondering if looking back when backing up is better with a lowered rear?

No....not really. Remember you're only lowering it by 1"-1.25". Not that big of a difference when looking out the back window or in the rear view.
