Beechdoctor, you have good taste. I'm getting the exact same...IBM 2ss with white rally stripes. Or I understand yours are silver? Hard to tell on the screen. Mine should be here by the end of the month if I'm lucky...early June at the latest. Hope you don't live near Orland Park, I want the only IBM Camaro on the road for a while (dealer told me that out of 20 other orders...I am the only one to order IBM...these people must be insane not to realize its the best color! Haha)

Yes...they are silver stripes. At an angle they look more white than grey as they are not quite as glossy as the paint. Looking directly down on the stripe it is a metalic silver...again with a slightly less wet finish of that Deep IBM! The white stripes will look fantastic too.....they will give you just a little more contrast...like to see that too. I live in Central Nebraska...no need to worry about having twins in your area with my car. Everyone is getting black, yellow, orange, or silver. I like the fact that IBM is not a "hot" popular color that every one else is ordering. That being said, I heard from a friend of mine that his son picked-up the last allocation at my dealer...he ordered the exact same car I have. No disappointments here! |

Guys - never question choosing this color for your new Camaro!
I picked mine up during a thunderstorm this past Wednesday, took him home to give him the Zaino treatment, and drove him to his first car show on Friday. You will fall in love with this color as did the hundreds of folks who ogled "Merlin" at the show. The lines of the car accentuate this color unbelievably - from certain angles it is a brilliant metallic blue; from other angles it is a deep purple. You won't be able to stop staring. Pure class emanates from this vehicle--you're gonna hear,"It's beautiful!" more times than you can count. People of all types love this car - I had the best ambassador at that car show that GM/Chevy could have ever wanted. The car drives like a dream - 75mph at under 3200rpm in a heartbeat and effortessly, no visibility issues, not at all claustrophobic, fabulous fit and finish. Just one word sums this car up: !Wow! |

I love the way the "brighter" colors look on this car, but I think I would get tired of it after a few years. This car in IBM has a certain confidence about it. It doesn't have to scream bad@ss, it just is! |

I definitely encourage you to hold off on putting stripes on this color car until you see it in person. I briefly considered it a few months into my waiting but decided to see if the body lines brought out the metallic flake in the paint as much as I had hoped. Whoa, baby! Wait til you see this color in the sunlight - looks like a custom paint job! DO NOT hype up this color too much - we want IBM to be the sleeper color and the most rare :-)
