It's new, so I could only order it direct from Hurst. Part #1630410. Here's a link to it:

Went to the dragstrip last night. Broke the right axle. Any of you guys with high horsepower and sticky tires need to look into upgrading your axles. I'll be installing a set of 1000 HP axles this week. I'm going to become a dealer for these axles if anyone needs any.

Got the car fixed. I broke the outer CV joint on the right axle. I'll post up a pic of this soon. My Driveshaft Shop axles are installed and look great. These have a one year warranty against breakage. They are coming out with a two piece driveshaft for the 2010 Camaros soon. I am a dealer for their products, so if anyone needs anything, PM me for a price.

600plus RWHP + drag radials = broken axle!

Here are some shots of the stock right axle. Ouch! I wish GM had put bigger CV joints in, but I guess they hadn't planned on people putting 600hp through them!

This is what's going on next... powder coated stock calipers, Hawk pads and widened stock wheels. 275.'s on the front, and 305's on the rear.

Caliper bolts finally came in today. For those who don't know, GM uses torque to yield (TTY) bolts to mount the calipers to the spindles. These are a one time use item. I know some people reuse them, but with my life riding on those eight bolts, I deemed it wise to replace them. Now I'm waiting on the Brembo cross-drilled rotors to get here. Also, I'm working on a different air cleaner setup that will use 4" tubing and connectors instead of the 3" presently there. The 3" setup was causing a restriction costing about 40 RWHP. See Lawdogg's thread for his dyno proof of this. Once all this is done, it's going on the dyno at RPM in Garner, NC to see what numbers mine turns. Stay tuned!

Air intake is done. It should flow more than the 3" setup that was on there. Only the dyno will tell for sure...
