SATURDAY ONE DAY TRIP TO CARLISLE !!!!

I'm curious as to how many people are doing a one day trip to Carlisle on Saturday. I'd be interested in cruising there together! Tony, Yardley, Pa

Tony, I was going to attend, but last time I looked it was a 90% chance of rain, so I think I will just eat the cost of my ticket and stay home.

I may give it until early Saturday morning, but I will not go if there is any rain in the forecast. Went last year on Saturday, when they said the rain would be moving out and it never did. Never detailed the car, locked it up, walked around the show, left early on Saturday afternoon, and found out online on Sunday morning I had won 3rd place in 2011 Camaro Street Class!!! Did not enjoy the show as the weather did put a damper on things...

I feel your pain , last year on Sat , it starting raining when I hit Harrisburg around 6:am and rain till 1:30 :pm that day . Cleaned the car 5 times and finally gave up . And I really didn't get to enjoy the show that day either .
But heck with it I'm still going this year , never know the rain could blow over or not but gotta try ...LOL

for the past two weeks most of the rain we were supposed to get has missed us. I guess I'll just wait until the last minute. Will tickets be available at the gate?

Yes , you can register at Gate 3 # for the show I think it will cost you $40.00 or $45.00 , I just checked on line which is closed , but couldn't find the price for show field . You'll just have to park and wait in line , But I don't think you'll have a problem , unless everyone waits to see what the weather is going to do ...

The Friday night forecast will be my determining factor. What time do the gates open up? I paid 40 online for the showfield ticket, but I did it last week and I guess I gotta pick it up at the gate. IF I go, I will leave very early, it's about 2 hours or so to get there.

The gates will open at 7AM Friday morning and remain open 24 hours a day till Sunday at closing at 6pm . Just remember to take your paper were you paid online for your registration . So it makes it faster for you .
