10.54@134 Kenne Bell SC'd

We ran our Kenne Bell powered Camaro Monday at Cal Speedway. We ran several 10.5x passes wiith a best of 10.54 @ 133.99 with a 1.53 60' .
This was on 15.8 lbs on 94 octane . We will be turning the car up to 24lbs and running c-16 next week. Looking to run a 9.7x assuming the axles hang in there.
Super Chevy Magazine was present ,and Jim Capisano also ran the car. We drove the car to the track, changed the tires, made some passes ,changed tires back and drove home. The car was full weight as well. For those who havent seen the car or been in it, our Camaro has perfect street manners. You would think it was stock, til you hear the whine from the Kenne Bell.

The combo:
Kenne Bell 3.6H LC running 15.8 psi
forged 6.2l with stock LS3 cam and lifters
stock exhaust manifolds and cats with an ARH cat back
A6 auto trans with a PI 2200 stall convertor
stock 3.27 gears and stock suspension
stock fuel pump with Kenne Bell boosta pump

Soon to come..BOOST,cam,and Long tubes with cat delete. Then we will be looking for some low 9's with a fully streetable car.

We have been at this power level for over a month and beating the hell out of it on the street. Ive spent a tremendous amount of time on the trans tuning, and this thing shifts firm and crisp, with Tq Managment turned on.

well aware of the trans tuning involved with a6's, tuning them in the vettes since 07.... keeping tq management on is crucial for the survival of the trans.... also if you remove the tq management entirely but dont go in the tcc table and unlock the converter at 80-100% tps, you will end up eating up the lockup clutch in the tq converter, because the tq management manages the locking and unlocking of the converter at WOT

im surprised the stock manifolds didn't melt off.... that must be one hell of a restriction with 15+ lbs of boost...
What are the chances you'll run the 2" Kooks LT's with this setup? It would probably unlock a couple PSI when coupled with a nice dual 3" or 3.5" set-up the rest of the way out...

Definitley some restriction, but at this point Ive had to keep the car smog legal. Our Camaro is the 825 HP RPO Series car for Mr.Norms. Long tubes arent an option at this point. Once all the testing is done, I will be installing ARH Longtubes. Thanks Adam

True, but I have made changes in the tables and fixed the TCC flare that most others havent. No TCC issues here. Thanks for the advice
