Brian tooley racing is what I installed. Big question is are you going to stay naturally aspirated or are you going to go boost?

Stage 2 or 3 NA cam from BTR.com select a cam package. But that's just me. Are you manual or auto?

BTR make awesome cams but GPI populates the top 5 in our fast list for a reason........ SS4 or bust!

Comp Cams XFI Street/Strip High RPM Camshaft package from www.phastekperformance.com . Opted for the BTR valve springs with titanium retainers! I am considering this camshaft package when I finally do my rebuild!

From my experience our 2010 Camaro SS has 151K miles and is on it’s very last leg from a mixture of street duty and strip duty. If you are installing a camshaft I highly recommend replacing your oil pump with a high volume Melling oil pump or similar, valve springs and retainers, and at 100K miles I would definitely replace your water pump. I can’t stress it enough to install a oil catch can I recommend the Elite Engineering Catch Can it is excellent quality and if installed correctly it will not leak. At 100K+ miles if your Camaro does see any strip duty mixed with street duty I highly recommend rebuilding sooner than later because it will odds are cost you a lot more in the long run if something fails. I would install a new rotating assembly pistons, rods, and crankshaft while everything is apart or a new short block. At 100K the condition of your lifter and pushrods would be a concern. I am currently looking at the Texas Speed Performance rotating assemblies and shortblocks once my engine finally bits the dust. What do you plan on doing with your Camaro? Overall goals? www.texasspeedperformance.com www.eliteengineering.com

Definitely should give the guys at GPI a call. Not only do their products dominate the fast all-motor list, but their customer service is first rate - they really work hard to make their customers happy. They spend a lot of time and energy continuing to develop their products - they continue to update and enhance their grinds! They have great options from mild to max-effort. I encourage you to do your homework and check with a few different vendors for what works best for you, but I think you'll find GPI as your top pick once you do.

Also having seen my share of timing chain failures at higher mileage. Replacing your timing chain and sprocket at 100K+ miles would be a necessity.

i would call GPI or Cam Motion and tell them what your plans are with the car, race weight, gearing, trans setup and have them grind one made specifically for your car. They'll select the matching springs as well. As far as the package, its cheap insurance to go with new cam/crank gears, C5.R timing chain, and a high volume oil pump

depending on the mileage of the engine, and how much spin, new lifters. a lot of guys overlook the benefits/importance of quality lifters. You can go with chevrolet performance #12499225 at minimum or go with some johnsons if you want a bit better quality.

If you're girl is gonna be a screamer and about that 7500 to 8000 life, jonshon race
