SBC, small block chevy, in use from 1955- 1997, last produced by GM in 2003, but still produced in mexico by GM subsidiary.

Could be any cube up to about 434, any bigger than that and it starts necessitating a raise cam block so the rods and cam don't collide. Raised cam engines are visually noticeable. And btw 350 CI is 5.7L.

I'm not sure how could you could tell displacement other than playing the odds of build numbers. Most likely a 350 block originally, but might have a stroker crank.

could fill a cylinder with measured liquid. or pull the head and measure stroke and bore.

It’s got aftermarket vortec heads on it too, you can tell by the intake.
