Noise by passengers door
So i been having a noise on the passengers door or i think it sounds like a clicking sound. The thing is that i hear it every so often and cant seem to find where it comes from. I had people in the car try to help me but apparently it only happens when i am alone .
I seen people talk about a bolt in the door handle inside and that didn't help i was just wondering if anyone had or is having the same problem. To replicate the sound i would tap a the bottom end of the glove box and it would sound very similar, but cant tell if something is loose . Anyone have any suggestions?

You can always get a diagnosis at a dealership to see if they can see where the noise is coming from. We are here if you have any questions or concerns!

Wish i could go to a dealership that's why i'm asking to see if anyone had the same issue. I can live with the sound just don't want to.

I have the same issue. It sounds like a rattle and a clinking sound blended. I can only hear it while driving between 22 and ~35 mph. I cant find the noise and it always sounds like its from behind the glove box.

I was having crackling and popping noises in mine and it turned out to be the sunroof.

While we're on the subject of noises, I hear an irregular sound like a small hammer tap in the rear when I am in Park and the engine is running. It sounds like a little elf repairing a shoe in the trunk..or he's trying to get out of the trunk. (Hold the jokes; I'm being serious).
It's not rhythmic or steady; it's random tapping. Anyone ever hear this? Could it be rattling baffles in the muffler? |

reason asking is that people posted a while ago about this sound and i heard it in my car too, like someone is trying to escape from the trunk. If i am not mistaken its the engine making the noise. Since i did a tune in my car i have not heard that sound again.

if you guys are hearing this tapping noise(like someoone tapping on the trunck with a ring on thier finger) from the rear of the car(truck area) shortly after starting the car its normal. its a fuel system presure check. does the tapping start out kind of slow then speed up.

good luck with the dealer...here is what they'll say... "can't replicate the issue" or "panel clip was loose, snapped it back on" as soon as you drive away, you will hear it again. LOL

And I hear it whenever I stop the car and put it into park...after either a short or a long drive. |
