I do have a suggestion for everyone to contact customer service on here and voice your concerns. It will get passed on to those that make that decision. Your dealer really cannot do anything about it.

I just sent a PM myself
"Could you pass on our concerns about being left with a jury rigged key fob after the recall is performed. We all paid a lot of money for our cars and should have a key fob that is not only functional but visually appealing.
Thank you."

3d printed key filler

Brought home the new SS Conv today with the dealer modded keys. Glad to have it.

Any interest in a 3D printed filler for the gap left in the key? My son is designing it for my keys.

Good message .Short and to the point. I will write something similar in the near future but also anticipate being able to voice my concerns on the matter.

I have received a reply from William, he handled my Top issues previously so I trust him, and has passed my request forward.

Better to respond fast than too slow.

Picked up my 2014 2SS vert this past Monday and do love it! Definitely irritated at the fob situation but I am thinking of experimenting with re attaching the key to the switchblade. It looks as if it may be a doable item and, since the car shows the mod complete, it may work out. I will keep you all posted...
