Thanks guys, I will probably put a finger nail file in the one my wife has.
I am still not sure though if I am going to have the recall done. I need to talk to my insurance company first.

I'm at the point where if I can't pick up my car tomorrow I'm cancelling and getting something else. I don't care what the key looks like.

Ask them for a waiver. If you sign it you can get the car now with the old key.

And how exactly does replacing a key a solution to the recall issue in the first place? If my knee hits the FOB and shuts my key off while I'm doing 70 then that sounds like an ignition problem, not a key problem. The key shouldn't shut anything off while I'm driving regardless of size. WTF? Seems like a cheap fix GM is trying to put on.

Yeah, you're right. You should sell your Camaro right now!! Don't waste anytime. Your Camaro is dangerous and is not your friend.

What does being a sarcastic punk because I've had a terrible experience with GM so far do for you? Do you feel like a special elite member of the GM army now? Does it make you feel like you're part of some special car club? Get a grip, it's a product and GM is nothing more than a company trying to turn profits. If Apple fanboys drove Camaros, you'd be one of them.

I should get Tim Solso's email for you so you can send him a picture of you smiling like a donut. Maybe your thirst to suck off GM will finally come to fruition.

LOL!!!

It's called talking smack and you should know plenty about it, since that's all you've done. I've read every post you've posted up and 95% of them are you clowning on Camaro's(well your Camaro to be correct).

And actually I'm not a GM Fan Boy, I've owned many different kind of manufactures vehicles, from GM to Toyota(and everything in between). Company matters very little to me.

By the way I hate Apple and all things Apple. Droid person here and always will be

I gave you a good reply in your "I can't accelerate fast because my V6 sucks" thread. You've learned nothing from this site or it's members.

I'm guessing you're in your early 20's, full of arrogance and complete disregard for the opinions of others older than you. Those who've been there, done that and got the t-shirt.

It's not our fault you suck at driving....

I don't agree with the fix but this isn't just a Camaro or Chevy issue. Every car I've ever driven can be turned off while driving if you try hard enough. I'm sure a better solution can be devised for all manufacturers, that will prevent a vehicle from being turned off if that vehicle is in motion.
