Honestly, no, I've never done that. I hold the car in place with the brake, transmission in neutral. I only use the clutch when it's time to shift back into gear and start moving again.

I also have that oil like burn smell... i just had oil changed and thought the same it will go away cuz many they got some on the exhaust.... but after 150 miles still their. never had that smell before. Took the car back to the dealer where I got the oil change and they were like wow thats not good. They cant find a leak anywhere... Im lost on this, any help would be great
