You will obtain that mirror finish you are looking for. This is without a doubt the best stuff I have used.

Love the stuff, so worth waxing three and four times just to see the shine get better and better.

I love zaino. My mother just recently bought a toyota scion XD (i know i know i gave her an earful for buying that). After she bought it she came by to show me,she pointed out how glossy the paint was (silver).I told her to leave it with my and to take my anvoy for the rest of the day and come back around 7. i washed it with original dawn, clay bar'ed it.washed with Z7,2 coats of Z2 with ZFX addative ,then Z6 after each coat, after the third coat of Z2 i applied Z8.I also applied Z16 on the tires,When she got back her response was "holy S%^t, its glowing".

The whole process is a long one. Your first intial process will include stripping the car, the clay bar, and the bonding polish/wax process.

you have to wash the car with dawn to strip any existing polish/wax. then wash the car with a normal soap, i bought the car soap that zaino sells, then use the clay bar over the whole car......long process..... then re-wash the car once again. then you start the layering of the polishes.... so on and so on. If you go to the Zaino page it can describe it in more detail for you.

But to answer your question roughly, the first time i did my car i got up early in the morning and started and when I was finshing the sun was going down...... well worth it though when you see the results.

Just a note.... everytime you use it and layer it over and over.... the results are better and better

There is not enough clear on factory paint to properly wet sand and buff.

I heard a factory worker on this forum say that the black was waterbased too. I believe that water based paints still have to be cleared with urethane.

James, That finish looks good. Factory paint with Zaino? It looks wet sanded and buffed.

If the weather were perfect I would be all over a paint job like that. On the realistic side, I'd mess that up so damn quick.

Does this process need to change if you have the factory vinyl stipes?
