IMHO One of THE most beautiful cars ever built.
Back in the mid 60's a friend had a white, convertible. Happily I got to drive it quite a bit during the two years he owned it. IIRC it was a 1963. I have a soft spot for those old XKE's. If i could win that damned LOTTO I'd sign up for a white roadster. |

Its true. I would not a perfectly restored E-Type, like you said, it will be broken all the time. A restomod would be a lot better in my book.

Exactly. Anything British short of the last 10 years is horribly unreliable.
