Dealer recommendations?

Hello everyone just moved here from San Diego recently and I had a great dealer out there for my warranty work. Looking for a good mod friendly dealer near Fredericksburg willing to travel reasonable distance if need be (hour or so) thanks in advance!

I've heard Lindsay in Woodbridge is good, with regards to mods. I haven't personally tested that yet though.

I second the Radley sentiment.

can I ask what you did ? am about to install my CAI and look for info incase the dealer decides to say that , i have seen that as long as the mod does not cause damage to the engine they have no ground to stand upon.

I didn't do anything because they never touched my car. I brought my battery in because it died after not being started for a week. They refused to replace the battery without having the car there. I refused to have my new 1le towed 30 miles because they wouldn't replace it. I ended up charging it for a day and it's working okay now. I'm still worried so I start it every few days. I have yet to test for any parasitic loss. Anyway, while I was there I asked the service writer about simple mods like a cold air intake. He was an ass about it, clearly having no knowledge whatsoever, and told me they wouldn't cover anything mechanical if something broke.

Legally, they don't have any choice but to fix it, unless it was the actual cause. The problem is that you now have a headache to deal with. Coming from someone who use to work at a dealership as a mechanic, I don't understand why some service managers/mechanics act this way. I mean, I do($$$ / flat rate can suck), but why you would be dishonest/immoral and screw a customer out of work that should be warrantied is beyond me.

Just to give everyone a heads up my car is currently at Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, good group so far down there and no hassle with the mods. I've been working with Louisa with no issues so far.

I can second Country Chevy in Warrenton. I purchased my 1LE from them and have made a couple of mods to it and they haven't said anything.

I spoke with Country and though they were on point with what I look for in a dealer they recommended I try Lindsay (closer to me and more convenient) so far no issues from them
