Keep an eye on the rear view mirror next time or 2 you get on it. If you see smoke, its blowing past the rear main seal. If so, pull the check valve out of the oil port filter to relieve the crank case pressure.

8 psi is pretty healthy boost.

You might want to jack up the front end and check for oil residue near the rear of the motor. Bet there is signs of oil there.

I appreciate the help!! I will get under the car tomorrow and check to see what I can see. I hope nothing is wrong!!

I'm not FI...yet. But mine did the same thing at redline on the dyno. It hasn't happened since.

Happened to two months ago tree turned floored it, track was cold so I end up sideways let off straighten out and continue wot down the track. As soon as I get off the strip I get called to tech huge smoke cloud and a pool of oil. Lucky I didn't blow out the rear main that I know of haven't had issues since.


Edit: there was a ton oil covering the transmission and exhaust.

Yep, classic signs of too much crankcase pressure. Gotta relieve it or the problem will not go away.

My problem was the catch can wasn't installed correctly I had a t-fitting connecting the clean and dirty side together, once I fixed it haven't had a problem.

Just remove the check valve from the RX breather. Use a pair of need nose pliers and just pull it out.
