Scuffed Plastic

Are there any good protective coatings for the plastic piece at the bottom of the door? You know, the plastic piece you rub your foot on getting in and out of the car. I try hard to miss it, but in snow and ice, I sometimes pay more attention to not slipping and falling on my arse. Thanks in advance!

Hit up Chase @Apex Motorsports (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/privat...=newpm&u=22906) some items have a better price than listed online and he can tell you if he has any in stock.

Sorry guys, I guess I didn't explain the piece very well. The plastic piece that covers the carpet at the door sill/opening. Not the door itself. Thanks again!

Oh ok mine is wrap in suede and leather so no issues there sorry! Next question I'm assuming you have black leather interior so why not pop them out and wrap those bad boys!?

The above recommendations are both excellent choices. If your "scuffs" are white in color, it's highly probable that they haven't penetrated into the plastic and can be removed easily with an interior detailer. I use Megs Quik Interior Detailer. It works well but smells awful (like vinegar), so you may want a different brand. This will "hold you over" until you decide on which route of permanent protection you want.

I think the part you're talking about is called a door sill.
