Get in your Camaro and enjoy the road trip with 10 or 20 fellow owners. The road trips are epic. Do one, you'll be back for more.

Indianapolis, IN (1st) Baytown, TX Like luckynuts said, it's all about the road trip and the friends for us. We didn't get our car until after Valdosta, GA (even though it had been ordered in Feb. of 2010) and the second year at Indy was a "been there...done that". Would be on for Bowling Green this year if not for a conflict. Heading out to Vancouver to visit my sis for a couple of weeks. Date for that was set before C5F6 was finally announced. Would like to see C5F7 in Vegas or Los Angeles next year...with a late May date. Would make another awesome road trip for us. I don't get the people who complain that it is too far. I understand that some may not have the time for one reason or another but for those that do, drive the car! Make a vacation out of it. See the country. Live. For us, the farther it is, the more interesting places we can see on the way there and back. Fully three quarters of the miles on our 2010 have been accumulated on these three trips. Even with our mods the car is a fun, reliable, all day cruiser. Not enamoured with the busy, eastern Interstates with their left lane bandit 18 wheelers, but out west...where the limits are higher and the roads better (and less clogged), it is a joy to let the car stretch her legs and watch the gorgeous scenery slip by. And then there are the people we've met. Not a bad experience anywhere in the States. So...all this to say: we'll miss not going to KY this year with the Canucks but there is always next year. Enjoy! Be safe, Rick & Karen.
