I know what you mean. I've had Centri S/C and I never liked it. I've had TT and loved the great lowend TQ, but too much heat problem. My next F/I would be a Twin screw and studying the design of Techo, seems like a great design by being able to run long runners with the support of stand alone 8-rib.

I'll stop by your shop one of these days!
Take care and be safe!

I posted on this last week but I guess everyone was too lazy to click on the link...

here is the homepage...
http://www.techcointl.com/default.asp

this is a 3.0L blower....and supposedly has superior cooling capacity to what some of the other PD blowers offer.

Yes, I just confirmed that with Techco. Since we were their first distributor, we'll have the first ones and do an introductory order when it gets closer in time.

It looks a lot like the new Edelbrock SCs, except those use TVS rotors I think.

A general twin-screw question: Is there like one company that makes rotors for blower manufacturers? For example - EATON makes the TVS rotors for GM, Maggy', Edelbrock, etc. Is that similar to screw SC companies?

Techco makes their own rotors in-house, which is pretty cool. They have a full machine shop under their roof and make all the parts right there. We have a video tour of their facility I'll post up in a minute for you.

The corveette LS3 should be released with data/dyno very soon. Currently Techco is in process of bringing in some Camaro's. There should be a release soon.

I found this vid this morning. It appears that their Gen5 kit would be similar to this. . . Also, it looks like the LS3 kit is gonna be around $8500 from what I read on the Vette forum.

Techco is a solid company filled with X Saleen guys, they know there stuff. The Techco blower for the GT is a beast. There is a GT running low 11's with it.

For some GT guys/gals, the price of at 7999k was a bit stiff, but I will say that the kit is very complete. Plus you have to remember that Stang owners have a very wide choice of blowers that can come in under 5k. Like to see the Challenger with the Techco kit on it. When will you be at Towers next ? You guys park pretty close to the stang section
