Magnets?
Couldn't you use a couple of good Magnets hidden in the lower grille?

Hi. Well there are many things I could have used. But what I did use is what I had just sitting there. They work perfect for me. Have u tried magnets? Please explain how this would work for us? Were do u get ur magnets from? Thx for ur input

Haven't tried anything yet... just strolled across this thread, and thought ... Magnets. I will try it out in the future and let you know how it works... probably going to pick up at a industrial supply store.

Are the brackets attached to the grill?? Or are they just sitting in there?

I have an idea for a variation of your mod, from the pic, I wasn't sure how you were holding the plates on. Thanks for the help. AL |

Looks great Lupe! I removed my plate a few weeks ago but have been worried about the Houston cops getting me for it. I think I'll follow your lead with the brackets.
Thanks for posting! Phillip |
