I saved 56 lbs with my wheel and tire combo AND it is 8% smaller diameter... I gained .2 in the 1/4. Fact not theory!

Should be low 13s maybe 13.25. Depends on where you ran too.

Welp...you guys have been busy at the track while I was away...so I've just caught up on all the news! Looks fun as hell

Great to see that we finally have updated numbers on the first page!! (Thanks Baylor!)

Darkness, I think with a 101 trap speed if you can manage to hook with better tires and still get that trap speed you should be right near or at the top of the bolt ons list....putting you in the 13.4 to 13.5 range by my estimation. Super low 13s and 12s seem like fantasy with those mods at this point.

That said...you should post up a slip as that 101Mph speed is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Congrats to DandD for taking the top spot.

Its obvious that even though the RS equipped cars are running better stickier rubber, they are brought down a bit by the excess weight. I'd love to see what the a set of rims/tires from the ZL1 would do (those rims weigh 11 lbs less!). I want them bad on my car, but they are going to be super expensive which means I'll likely never get them lol.

Hopefully I can get the slip up tonight. Ill have to put it into a calculator too because Island is a slow track.

I'm thinking the math you are using may be in error. Some of the Internet formulas don't apply to the llt for some reason. I can tell ya a low 13 would be impossible in my car. At a near zero DA the best it will do is 13.7

Don't forget that DA can be negative!

Auto or manual? The manuals put down a bit more power and imo they can be launched harder with a good driver. They also have LSD and share the same rear as the SS.

Yeah but.... Wouldn't that change my 60 and trap speed? Most of the rules of thumb don't apply to the llt. Not sure why.

I ran a 103.4 trap speed with a 60' time of 2.027. My ET was only 13.783

I just don't see it happening for you Darkness, but time slips can be posted to prove us wrong.

I have not been able to repeat that performance yet. I have made 69 passes over 6 different dates. I have every slip and a spread sheet of all my info.

Glad to see I'm not the only one keeping a tight record book.

My launch was rev to 2500 or so, then drop clutch and floor it. The only successful time that worked was this time. Every other time I either spun or had severe wheelhop. I also made 6 passes that day. This was my first pass, and also my bet E/T. I believe the clutch was too hot by the end ( I only had to wait 15-20 min between passes). I did a very mild burnout before each pass, really just to clean the tires off and add a little heat.

Do getting closer to a 2.0 60' will help me the most? Should I not rev at all before launching next time?
D'oah... thought you were an auto.... my bad!

Ok... i wold try a bit longer burnout to get some heat into the tires.. Also lower the rear PSI. I would start at 28 and then maybe drop down to 26..
