Apart from Nick, I got no love for them either.

Ok. Ordered it.

Got the 3.8" pulley.

I may actually do the install myself. Throw a stock Magnusun tune in it and see what it does. Then go have it dynotuned and go from there. I can buy a 3.6 if I feel the need. I should get up to 500 rwhp or just below with a safe tune. Then put the smaller one on and see.

Maybe I'll fire it up on Christmas.

I didn't know you were so handy...good luck with that. If you come down to Houston, make sure you bring Bonnie. She still needs to pose with my car!

She wouldn't miss a road trip.

But, the install looks pretty easy, and I can get a Magnusun stock tune using the 3.8 pulley it comes with. I already have the tuner. Then have it dyno tuned later.

The Magnuson tune is for an otherwise stock car. You have headers. Unless Magnuson will give you a modified tune for a car with headers, you may not get the results you're hoping for. Have you talked to Magnuson about the tune you're getting? Perhaps sending a PM to them might help. Just a suggestion.

PS: I was hoping PQ and Bonnie would come up here for IPS to do the work. I'd like for PQ to pose with my car!

But you bring up a good point. And you are very correct. In fact, Magnusun won't even warranty it unless you leave it otherwise stock.

Good catch. Yer gittin' purdy good at this.....

LOL

The stock maggie tune will work fine with exhaust and CAI.

You just don't get the most out of the combined effect of all the mods.

It's a good way to save some money, then just pay for the dyno tune 500 ish instead of 1400...

Yep. When the intake manifold was removed to install the maggie, the fuel rails and injectors came out with it as one whole unit.
