The Glen is about 35 minutes from work so I can take a long lunch and meet you for the noon run. Confirm 14th-15th though. C5fest is weekend of 8/4 and BBOMG is 8/11.

The dealer is Raymore Chevy and my salesman's name is Brian. Everyone there is very nice and they really have been trying hard to get me info when I ask. This site usually has me one step ahead of them though. I decided to go with them because of a thread that I read on this site about good dealers that sell at msrp. My company also buys work trucks through them and we get service done there as well.

The shifter handle is pressed on shaft of 6 speed. Trying to find a sleeve I can put over shaft with a threaded end so I can get a different shifter head. Anyone know of such a piece?

11/03/2011 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
11/03/2011 (1102) Order entered via web.
12/13/2011 (2030) Order edited or modified.
01/13/2012 (2030) Order edited or modified.
01/23/2012 (2050) Order changed or modified.
04/20/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
04/24/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
04/25/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.

Not sure if something like that exists. Seems like it would make it too high to be the right thread. No response from Barton? Buy a Hurst. Or if you're adventuress enough, I ran across this thread yesterday. DIY link in post 4.
