Marchant Chevy in Charleston already has one on the lot, so I don't think Love Chevy's got the first one.

I was sure they were not to be the 1st in the state, but "unveiling" might be their disclaimer as most dealers won't due so till May 6th.

Yes and no. The car you and I drove was something sort of like a CTF (if not actually a CTF). They gave it back today. So depending on what the flyer means, it could still be right...

I'll be at the Racers Reunion today. I might even put down some $$$ on one of Love's next allocations.

The car Love is showing at the reunion is a pre-production car without a vin. It's a car Chevy has been sending around for shows and events. (It's dressed in ABM BTW) I talked with them yesterday. They don't have a regular production car yet.

AWESOME!!! I have finally seen one up close and in person!! I was right there when you took those pictures TJ!! I had him open the sunroof a couple minutes later. Nice, you got the VIN. I didn't even think to look. I'm surprised not to see myself in the background. I had a '68 Camaro tee-shirt on. We should have arranged to meet. Have you ordered one? If so, from which dealer?

Is that their "stock" car that all dealers are getting? If so do you know if they are selling it or demoing it?

It is there "stock" car and they are selling it. They were going to have an auction on the unveiling day but I didn't hear how that went. You can contact Kevin and he can help you out:

Love Chevrolet, Harbison Columbia will be hosting a classic car show along with the supposed 1st owner delivered Camaro in SC on display. It's an RJT 2SS/RS. I'm planning on showing my '67. It should be a good time. If anyone from the forum here comes out, look for me by my car. I would love to meet you.

Thanks for the info. I actually got my Camaro on order last week through Kevin. Someone canceled their order and I was able to take their allocation and make it what I wanted.
