Just a reminder for those interested in the halo kit that the current presale deal is done when they start shipping hardware. I got an email stating they expect that to be in about two weeks! Catch it soon if you can!

Thanks all...we've been busy getting everything ready. SL modules will be released soon after, or the same time we ship the pre-order halo kits. Halo kit orderers will be able to pre-order SL modules.

We only have a few pre-order halo kits still available. The sale will be over when we run out of these, or we begin shipping.

We're expecting to begin shipping pre-order kits May 13th.

On the JDP swap, does the front bumper have to come off again?

Where does the new controller mount?

I believe the JDP kit tells you to mount the controller on the back of the crash bar.

I know...that's where I mounted it. I recall reading in one of the previous posts that the NiteOwl controller mounts in a new location after plugging into the JDP harness...

Still need to know if I absolutely have to pull the bumper...?

If you have skinny arms and an angled electric screw driver you may be able to get to the JDP controller without removing the bumper. The outermost screws will be the hardest to reach.

I know I won't be able to remove mine without removing the bumper but I have some other mods that require the bumper off so I will be doing it all together.

The bumper cover needs to be removed to give you room to mount the NightOwl controller. We suggest mounting the NightOwl controller on the bottom pinch weld of the frame just below the overflow tank. You'll need to remove the actual bumper to remove the old controller. Taking off the bumper cover is pretty easy and doesn't take long.
