After calling around I finally found a dealer that would honor my discount and placed the order on 28 Feb 09.

Picked her up at lunch on 10 Jun 09. They honored their word and applied my discount. Walked out with $2,600 plus below MSRP.

BTW, I didn't go back to work.

Ordered 18 Oct 08 (first day I could get off work in time to get to the dealer before he closed)
Picked up 13 May 09, approximately 7 minutes after delivery :-)

And I didn't go back to work, either!

I'm such an idiot!! I went back to work. Snowed two days later and I didn't get to drive it till spring.
