Clark,

Where do you want to drive? I'm available on Saturday after 6-7pm.

I just ordered a separate clutch reservoir from JDP. Has anyone else installed one of these? I ordered the stage I kit. I did a lot of reading on the issue, plus my fluid is already darkening a lot at only 3k miles. I'm going to buy the Motal DOT4 locally.

Take care,

Tara

Tara, Mike installed one on his car this week but I'm not sure when he'll be back in the country. He did say it was pretty easy. In the mean time you can do what we've been doing until we get around to adding the seperate reservoir....remove the dirty fluid from your reservoir and just replace it with clean fluid. You will have to make sure the fluid u put in is ok to mix with DOT3 but I think that DOT4 is ok. I'm sure Mike will chime in soon lol! If you need help let us know.

Funny you mention this Tara. I just did mine on Tuesday. I got my kit from Ofer at Gen5DIY.com. Install went easy. I bled the clutch per instruction but haven't had the car out yet. I had to leave the next day. I'm in Argentina till the 15th. LMK it comes and we'll schedule an install.

Hey Mike,

Great minds think alike, I guess! My kit should be in next week sometime. You get back home safe, now! Thanks!

Take care,

Tara

Thanks, Jen!

I have most everything I need to swap out the ugly brake/clutch fluid. I'll probably do that before the new reservoir is installed. I've heard so many horror stories about stuck clutch pedals and grinding gears caused by this issue...

See you later!

Tara

And the real red a$$ is that they are not all different. I think the early 2012 bulbs are the same. You have to go and pull a bulb to see which you have.
