rear turn signal issue...PLEASE HELP!
Hey guys,
I've got a 2010 LS and the inside bulb doesn't consistently work in the right rear turn signal. It lights up when I unlock the car, and sometimes it functions properly, but other times it doesn't. I can't figure out what is going on. Has anyone experienced this? any ideas? Thanks! |

Have you had the car since new? And is it both lights on that side or just one of them? It could be a bad connection, do they work ok with the turn signals and emergency flashers?

I bought it used about two months ago. Its just the inside light, the light will be on but wont flash while the outside light flashes and that happens for both the turn signal and hazards

Try changing bulb out with new one or switch sides and see if you have same problem.

Something does not sound right there, take the cover off and check to make sure the wiring has not been spliced. Someone may have had custom lights and swapped them back out and wired it wrong. I know that's a stretch but on a used car you never know what the previous owner did.

Well, I changed the bulb and sure enough that was it. I've never had a bulb come and go like that before so that threw me off. I also didn't realize the bulbs had two filaments in it. Thanks for your input guys, I appreciate it!
