I saw it in person today with my salesman, I pointed at it and said, I am glad I did not order that option

The dealer my mother bought her '06 Monte from put a fairly small sticker in the bottom corner of the trunk, and that doesn't bother me a whole lot considering it's a gray car and it blends in. I'd expect the dealer to remove it, but it didn't really bother her, so she didn't say anything about it. I wouldn't flip about something small like that, but something like the first post, people would die. Plain and simple.

I have always had the dealer remove any dealer emblems off of the car before i took it home. I really dont like cars that have so many emblems all over it. the little gm emblem needs to vanish as well to many in my opinion.

My dealer already knows NO BADGES. As soon as I get mine it will be debadged of EVERYTHING including bowties, SS, GM and the CAMARO badge. I want it smoother than a baby's bottom!

After all the hassles in trying to get event code status updates---- and they want to put a sticker on advertising the dealer??? Quite Laughable.
I will keep the Chevy Bowtie & GM ones. They created this masterpiece. |

Back in the 60's & 70's dealers used metal name badges- two holes drilled !. At least now decals are easy to remove. I bought a new Chrysler once in the 80's- dealer added at least 8 dealer names including ugly rear mud guards with their name on it. You know I didnt take that car until all that junk was removed. My dealer has agreed not to add front plate and dealer logo on my Camaro.

And they did ask me if I wanted front plate or not. (even before I brought it up). Of course I declined and will have it located in the trunk. Most likely it will be on there but most can be taken off without damaging clear coat. |

I'm glad I read this thread, I DO NOT want any dealer badge or sticker on my SS. I will let them know when they call me to confirm my order when my order gets pulled.

a small dealer emblem, PAINTED on, tastefully in a color that compliments the color of the car, is ok. A little subtle ad is ok. But a big stupid emblem? No way..
