Ugh - I'm getting ready to go grab up a couple of bottles of sta-bil and a package of mothballs. Dennis' friend sold his firebird and still has the cover, he's donating it to the cause - yay!! Our shop building isn't heated but is insulated. Thanks to everyone for sharing advice here. It doesn't sound like the trickle charger is a must-have. I might price them just in case.

Is this in addition to the fuel stabilizer? Also, what is the recommended fuel additive to use for storage?

So after working on my car for almost 8 hours in near 0 degree weather, she's looking more beautiful than ever. But now, stored away in my garage where she will wait for 6 months for me to take her out again in the spring. Sad day. here are a few pics I snapped before lockin her up.

Two reasons. 1.. You will be putting fresh stuff in the spring no sense in letting it sit in the engine collecting moisture. There is enough residual oil left to protect everything.

2. So I don't fire it up on New Years Eve and scare the crap outa everyone.

Stored my baby beast on Sunday.
Played her a goodnight song and tucked her real nice under the covers.

Mine got parked on Sunday... Worked out perfectly weather-wise, but that doesn't make me any happier as a person haha.

This year I managed to get her back on the road in April. Shall we start a countdown?

Countdown started 7 days ago for me...

I got my trickle charger, if I hook it up to the terminal at the front of the car will it make a difference? I have the speaker box in the trunk don't really feel like moving it to get to the battery.
