I solved this problem when I got my first Corvette. If it was a friend, no problem as long as they sat shotgun. A "friend" got, "Sure, buckle up" & the quarter in 13 seconds. most other "friends" did not ask. I did get some who said "do it again", though (lol).

I'm going to let anyone who sincerely asks to have a ride in mine when I get it... heck, there's one co-worker of mine I WANT to drive it. I'm a very sharing person when it comes to this kind of thing, always have been.

I had to lay down the law me and hubby are the only ones to drive it and same with the 77 CJ5 Jeep. We have lots of nephews that want to 'see what it can do':/

I will take pretty much anybody for a ride as long as thier shoes are clean. If they ask to drive it.... well.... Dont ask to drive my car and I wont ask to F*** your wife!

I will keep my baby for myself and no one is driving it. If one of my friends would like a ride that is fine! They would give me the same courtesy. My friends will be and are excited for me as I would be for them! As for my neighbors, if they want to see the car it is all good. I will be more than happy to show them.

Hi all! Just joined.
Personally, I'm thinking of starting a little side business at work. I've told folks I ordered one and everyone wants a ride. So, I'm thinking of setting up a lunch schedule. Anyone wanting a ride can sign up. I take one person per day and they have to buy me lunch. I think I could be set for a long long time! As far as anyone driving it. If they aren't family, they have no chance.
