SS/RS package

Of those who ordered SS/RS package, what was the main reason why?
and also did you go ahead and get the sunroof option too? I have struggled over this and have decided 2SS only. I just didnt like the halo lights enough to spend 1200, but I think I'll be a little jealous over the red SS badge.

I ordered the SS/RS because I wanted the V8 and I liked the halo/HID lights. After reading multiple threads about aftermarket halo/HIDs and how they would end up costing about the same as the RS package, I figured it would be better just to get them from factory. Plus you get the red SS badge as you mentioned

I did not order it , like the lights but 1200 bucks wasnt worth it to me, plus the tail lights being a touch darker wasnt much of a deal and the roof area being painted the color of the car didnt apply since mine is Black

I ordered the 2SS/RS without the sunroof. The halo lights and was probably the main reason for the RS order and the midnight silver rims. I did not order the sunroof because I am 6'-3" and the sunroof cuts down on the headroom.

Halos and rims mostly...but more than anything, so it was a SS/RS.

Did not go with the RS. Ordered 2SS/Silver and thought the polished wheels look better.

I changed my order from 1SS/non-RS to a 2SS/RS... Just because I had the money and IF I ever sell the car it will help with resale value. It really isnt worth the $1200 unless your getting a V6, since you get bigger wheels and tires and a spoiler.

I ordered 2SS/RS sunroof because I basically wanted fully loaded nicest camaro I could get. It doesn't hurt that i love the HID/Halo part of it and the darker wheels and other stuff. Got the sunroof cause i love sunroofs. This is the second car I have bought brand new and i wanted to get exactly what I wanted or nothing.

Love the leather... love the other perks that are bundled into the 2SS... RS has more features than just the headlights... but it's just about looks. 2SS/RS for me!

2SS/RS w/Sunroof

While the Camaro looks fine without the halo's, it looks far more 'upscale' with them. And they add an element of menace to it's look.

The painted roof moldings are also a plus as I think the black moldings look a little cheap.

As minor as it is, the darker tinted taillights look better than the bright red imo.

I like sunroofs, so had to have that. Would have preferred TTops, but we all know that's not an option.
