I want mine May/June 2010... when should I order? I leave in Ontario, so I'm close to the Oshawa plant...

I'm thinking February 2010. I can get a Benz ordered and built in Germany in that time, so I should be able to get a Camaro from my own country? Right?

I was told from my dealer, 8 to 10 weeks with an open allocation and I ordered about week and a half ago. If you are waiting till 2010 to get one, it may not take that long as GM maybe caught up with the demand by then.

It depends on how many your dealer has presold. I was at one dealer this week that could give me a late August allocation and another who said it would take 4 - 6 months as they have sold 20 already and only delivered 6. Something else that might slow things down is they said that only 30% of production is currently allocated to the V8 cars...it used to be 50% according to this dealer? That being said, a number of smaller dealers have cars on their lots unsold and will have more coming in over the next few months. I predict widespread discounting up here by September

I was offered $400 off MSRP yesterday

June 2010, you WILL be able to just walk into a dealer and pick one out from the lot!

haha, with the likeliness of it having my EXACT combination... might be a little difficult to find

By that time I would imagine them to be on the lot.

More than likely, yes. They may not have it at that dealer, but they will have it at a dealer somewhere which can be shipped to your dealer. If you want to wait that long, don't worry about ordering.
