The thing is, the 3.6DI has been out for a little.
Exhaust is nothing to get done...take it to a shop. There are tuning options, instead of crying that there is nothing out there, work with what you got until something else comes out. If you know a good custom fab shop, turbo manifolds could be made. Seriously, if you wanted it bad enough you could get it.

Also there is an incredibly amount of engineering that goes into a something like a supercharger or turbo kit... When I bought my 2005 V6 Mustang it was probably close to a year before people like Vortech and ProCharger release their superchargers... Bottom line... it takes time, we just need to be patient..... The V6 Mustang market was very bare when the new 2005's hit but with in a year to 18 months you had a big selection of performance parts! And i believe the key to all of this is going to first be getting the ability to tune the car...

Why? Well, unless I'm wrong we actually have the rarer car of the two. I've been told more V8's have sold then V6's.

6 banger
I don't suspect this to be the rarer car for long.I havn't looked at the production numbers .but if G M ever decides to do some creative advertising .This car should be a hugh success with younger people and people who don't have kids.It is a fast an economical car with a lot of potential for more speed.

There more options in the aftermarket for the V6 Camaro then there are for the V6 Challenger. I surprised by the amount of products that are already available.

Actually, Chevy dealers are offering V6 Camaro performance mods now, and it won't void the warranty! You take our car in, you do some paperwork crap, pay up, they hand you the keys to a SS Camaro! Bye bye V6! and you will never hear anyone saying "oh, it is just a V6", "oh, why didn't you get the V8 in the first place?" Just kidding.
I have seen V6 performance mod offerings but I can't remember the site. Use the power of the internet, you will find them. I don't think it will be long before more and more aftermarket go-fast goodies for the V6 Camaros become available. Until then, you can work on making the car lighter. 304hp seem a lot but not for a 3800 pound car. |

Just take a look at the homepage...
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36082 Its just a matter of finding a performance company that wants to cater to the owners of the v6, it will catch on in time. I dont think it will be too much longer, now that there are so many performance options out for the ss these manufacturers can focus on the v6. I personally would love to get an ss when the funds come together, to each his own |
