Very cool to see....sounds awesome.

Curious though, and I'll admit I know nothing about this kind of racing, sure seems like he was gettting lapped pretty hard and other cars were really pulling away from him. Is this just a practice run or something? I hope so, otherwise based on just that video it doesn't look like he'll be very competitive.

I'm not bashing here....just going by my observations of this video.

It is practice, but, there are different classes of cars running at the same time.
The Daytona Prototypes (DP's) are a significantly faster car. Those are the ones that you see blowing by the Camaro.
