1LE clean side separator.
Re-doing my CC set up and was thinking about adding the separator and having it routed to the inlet before the supercharger. Don't want to add another catch can. Think this would be a good idea, and would still have the fresh air line going to my elite.
Thoughts?...

I know there are a few people using the vent connection on the IPF system as a fresh air source for the driver side crankcase. But this connection on the IPF intake is actually designed as a vacuum source created by intake air rushing by (I believe based on the original configuration). I wonder how efficient this port is for supplying air to the drivers side to wash to the passenger side. The passenger side vacuum would need to be significantly stronger to pull air in.

I have tried a few different trying to get rid of the moisture while stabilizing the tune. I have been using the brake booster vacuum as the main vacuum for pulling on the passenger side with a Saikou Michi catch can. This cans interior setup is the best I have found.
Because of the vacuum volume provided by the brake booster I have tried drawing fresh air in the IPF intake after the MAF. I have also tried a metered valve on the oil cap and setup the tune to accommodate. I am now going to try an RX 1le separator on the clean side. Utilizing the IPF vacuum port drawing from it. I would like to modify this port or create one with less draw from incoming air but for now I'm leaving the hardware as is. Then using the break booster and IM port to provide vacuum under boost and non boost conditions. I am hopeful for the 1le separator setup on the clean side.

Ok , let us know how that works! Once you add the separator , what will you do with the fresh line?

I will cap the IPF vacuum if I can't mod it easily to become a port to draw fresh air instead on the vacuum it is setup for. An elbow pointing into the flow will allow this. And it's after the MAF for metered flow. But any turbulence around the MAF could cause more problems.
