Accelerated Cornering / Stabilitrac?

This is a bit hard for me to describe, but here goes...

I made a left hand turn and kinda "Jumped" on it a bit to get down the entrance ramp. I "Felt" as if the rear tires had stuck to the road and the body of the car itself shifted a bit to the right. Strange feeling. I do not believe that the wheels broke loose as I didn't see an increase in RPM when it happened. Stabilitrack and Traction Control was on. Morning was cool, pavement dry.

Anyone else have / get this feeling when accelerating out of a turn? I am sure you track guys have some input...

I think what you felt was the Stabilitrack / Traction Control working.

Encountered it a few times. Stabilitrack backs off of the throttle when it senses side-slip. Tires not spinning as much as sliding.

if it was stabilitrak or TC you probably would have notice the bright orange lights coming on in your dash.
