OWNER APPRECIATION CERTIFICATE

Just received a owner appreciation certificate in the mail. It has almost every chevy on the list but camaro. Its signed Troy A. Clarke group vice president. I would like to email him or send him a letter about not having a camaro on the list, but don't know how to contact him. In the 34 years that I have been driving I owned about 17 gm cars and trucks, 5 of them were brand new. And now the 2010 camaro would make that 6 new ones. So where is the owner appreciation?

I Got the same letter . You know they only show appreciation when the cars don't sell that well . You won't see it on the Camaro for a while.

This is just a way for upper management to make customers feel appreciated for GM loyalty. It has nothing to do with whether or not yourGM vehicle sells or not. I have received a couple of these over the last few years haveing bought a couple 'new' Chevrolets. It's just good customer relations and GM doesn't want to lose loyal customers during this critical time. I think it's fine and have no problem with it.

I personally hope you eat those words, nothing against you, given time, I think us Camaro buyers will be shown appreciation. Especially those of us that ordered early on. I will feel appreciated every time I drive my Camaro

You’re asking them to give away thousands of profit on the hottest selling car in the market. Just be glad they are allowing you to use a thousand dollars of actual earnings for the car.

"This is just a way for upper management to make customers feel appreciated for GM loyalty. It has nothing to do with whether or not your GM vehicle sells or not. "

One thing is calling is customer appreciation another thing is actually being that. All these offers are coordinated by GM they are all part of marketing and studies. Studies show GM owners for the most part are brand loyal so let’s send them incentive to buy a car even if they really don't need one at this time.

Tis the Season!

I just got one from Chrysler last week.

1000 nuggets against any new Chrysler product of your choice!

They forgot to place the following at the bottom of the paragraph, that tells you what you can not use it for:

(does not include any freaking model that you would ever in your most drug induced dreams ever consider paying actual money for)

I too think the CAMARO should have been included.

I got a $100.00 letter that I can use on parts or services at a GM dealership. I think it's because of the recall. That is what GM should be doing, showing their loyal customers that they understand.

The certificate is also only for 2009 cars. My certificatre is downstairs, but if I remember correctly, the G8 is on the certificate and it's a hot seller too. I imagine if the certificate applied to 2010 cars, the Camaro would be listed.

I feel a little bit shafted right now.
Ordered 2010 Camaro on 5/8/09 and Purchased 2009 G6 on 5/10/09

Since then I've gotten letters for:
Additional $2000 in bonus earnings on GM Card
Additional $2750 in Owner Appreciation Cash

As we all know none of this applies to the Camara, but if I would have waited 3 weeks on the G6 I could have saved $4750!

I'd like to find a way to get any portion of that $4750 back in rebate or applied to Camaro. Know it probably won't happen, but if anyone has an e-mail or phone number of someone I could call, I'd appreciate it. The GM Card customer service 1-800 number was no help.

We got the letter too from my wife's G6 purchase. It does state the Owner Appreciation is in addition to any Regional Incentives - so while not applicable to the Camaro it could be a sweet deal when also leveraging the GM Supplier, Credit Union member or USAA discounts.
