Want to put the OEM 18s on my SS/ Which Spacers??
OK so i had a 2012 camaro 1LT RS. I live in NY so winters can get bad at times. I decided to get a set of OEM 18" wheels with the all seasons. It seemed to do the trick. However i just upgraded to a 2015 SS and from what im hearing those 18"s will not fit over the Brembos. So my only option now is to get wheel spacers. I also herd people have had to shave the original studs. Im just curious if anyones had the same issue. What spacers should i go with and any others tips for getting these wheels on my SS. Thanks!

Not sure exactly what the fitment would be, but I know that you can either swap out your brake pads with the roller skates on them or cut them off. I have a friend that removed his for 18"s and it worked fine. He hasn't had the squeak issue so far..
In my state "adapters" are legal, but spacers are not. Ironically, I saw spacers on the shelf at O'reilley yesterday. I would avoid the spacers personally, they can cause lug nut fitment problems. |

Myself I would never consider wheel spacers. Buy a second set of stock SS size wheels and have winter tires mounted on them. Then just switch them for the season. Safe and secure.
