Someone PM'd me to ask what Headers were used on this car...
Darth Emma chose the American Racing Headers for this build... I also used the ARH shorty headers on my TT build and they are proving to be great headers... Looks like they can hold the power too! |

Thanks for posting the datails and for all your help yesterday, Mark! It was a cold and windy day, but I'm glad we braved the weather to make some passes.
There are so many people who helped build this car. It's unreal how much time and effort went into it. I want to say how much I appreciate the group of guys from IPS, especially Tom and Jared (as well as many others at IPS). A special thank you to Stas at IPS for his support. Also Bob Williams (All Pro Heads!), who drives my car, but who has also provided a LOT of other help and amazing expertise. He is the Jedi Master of engines. Mark Carlyle (atomicfusion, who not only helps with the car, but who also lets me borrow a lot of his stuff and coaches me about drag racing. Patrick Barnhill (PTP Racing) who tunes the car. He is a mad scientist if I have ever met one! And Tomi Laine who dials in the suspension. There are many others who have also helped... RPM Transmissions, ERL, Aeromotive... the list goes on. You all rock! |

Thanks, everyone. A lot of really smart people worked very hard to make this happen. I feel very fortunate to have such a great group to work with. It's unreal how much time and effort went into it.

To get these cars down to even 3500lbs requires a full gutting of everything inside and out of the car when you are running at this power level as the LSX block, turbos, cage, etc. adds even more weight and you have to get pretty creative to get weight out of them. Like Terri, I have kept my full interior as well as its kinda cool to have a stock looking car that can go this fast. Now just imagine if Terri wanted to gut the car and take all the weight out of it how fast it can go........scary in an awesome way of course
