A few ZL1 builds at Livernois Motorsports

2013 ZL1 Manual Trans

This car was baselined with less than 100 miles, but we were still puzzled as to why the numbers seemed low for a manual trans. We found that the dealership filled it with 87 octane fuel. When finished, we tuned it for 91 octane, because it was shipping to CA.

Mods:

Livernois Motorsports Exclusive Heat Exchanger
Livernois Motorsports Solid Supercharger Coupler
Livernois Motorsports Supercharger Pulley
Livernois Motorsports Exclusive Steel Idler Relocation Bracket w/ Metco Pulleys
Livernois Motorsports Spec’d Injectors
Metco Oversize Crank Pulley Ring
Innovators West Oversize Balancer
Rotofab/Livernois Cold Air Intake
NGK TR6 Plugs
160 Degree T-Stat
Livernois Motorsports 91 Octane Dyno Tune

Baseline numbers were 489 RWHP / 476 RWTQ - Post mod numbers were 581 RWHP / 579 RWTQ

Did you re-dyno the car when it was stock with 91 octane? I just picked up a '13 ZL1 M6 that still has the dealer filled gas. Curious to know how much this affects the numbers. Good news I have a BP that sells 93 octane in my area.

Unfortunately, we didn't. I'd say it's about a 15-20 RWHP difference.

The package on the grey car was nice if you don't want it to sound much different. It had 100% stock exhaust, but picked up good power even with 91 octane. With 93 it would pick up slightly more.

Like everything else that you guy's do they are all very impressive. On the yellow car that made 630,How much boost was it making ? I really hope that you guy's come out with a kit to put a Whipple on one of these cars. I would like to see what a stock car with just a Whipple at 16 pounds would make. 650?
