All of the cars run better when DA is 600-1000. My friend's intake/exhaust/tune srt8 traps 111 mph on motor in 600 DA... the same speed he traps on nitrous in 3000 DA. HUGE difference. |

My brother had a bolton A7 370z and I had a 2007 Mustang GT (Shelby GT but same thing) with boltons and 4.10 gears. Whooped his ass every time from a roll. That Shelby barely kept up with stock 5th gen Camaros but always lost in the end. Quite the anecdote I'll admit, but as good as anyone else's.

This is a stupid discussion.
Everyone and their mother knows that on a tighter track the edge goes to the 370z due to its size and on a longer track (longest being a 1/4 mile track lol) the edge clearly goes to the camaro due to its torque. 1LE will favor the camaro on tighter tracks that would usually favor the 370z. Mod discussions are retarded. What would be interesting would be to actually find a video of a nismo 370 and camaro 1le going head to head. 1 Track to favor the camaro and 1 Track to favor the 370z. That would be cool to watch. |

Can we please get rid of this troll who just posts hero runs of imports? Isn't there a vote him off the island option?

Sorry but the 1LE would not lose on any track to a 370z

In reference to the article originally posted, I think I agree with the result (even though I noticed the picture of the interior was not a 2013 model :P). With the 1LE package or even aftermarket upgrades to the SS, the Camaro really becomes a good handling car. I wish I could say the same about the stock suspension on my V6 lol.
At the end of the day, if you want a true handling car, the 370Z, and the Infiniti alternatives are gonna be the better choice IMO (As well as Bimmers and the famed S2000) But for how heavy our Camaro's are they certainly hold their own. I just need to stop driving my mom's S2000, it makes my Camaro feel like a sloppy drunk haha!

Something that people don't seem to wrap their minds around... A person whom is impartial to where a car is made, i.e. me. I don't care. I have an open mind, I'm not ignorant and only buy American and think all Japanese cars are crap or vice versa. |

Low 13s are hero passes for a 350z. There's on a few guy in the country that have run very low 13s in bone stock 350z. Also - the comment about intake, exhaust, and tune and most 370z run low to mid 12s is total B.S. I would love to see this list of 350z or 370z running low 12s with intake, exhaust, and tune. A Camaro SS - mod vs. mod - will easy beat a 350z or 370z with equal driver skill. Heck, my L99 ran 12.16 @ 114 mph with 20" wheels, stock gears, stock conveter, no weight reduction, with just basic bolt ons and a tune. - How many Z's have done that? |

So I bought a replacement for that car, bone stock 1 owner ls1. Going to build this car myself... I bought it because I am aware of the potential and the huge aftermarket support of the LSx. Oh yeah. http://www.the370z.com/track-autocro...ack-times.html Bolt on 370z's. There would be more but there simply less 370Z's on the road then Mustangs or Camaros and owners are less likely to take them to the strip. Plus most don't even bother to post their numbers on the list. 1) jnaut ------------ 09 Base Sport 6MT 12.245 @ 111.81 mph 1.813 60ft street 2) Z eliminator ----- 09 Tour Sport 7AT 12.420 @ 114.37 mph 1.854 60ft DR 3) secondnissan ----- 10 Tour ----- 7AT 12.856 @ 106.25 mph 1.944 60ft street 4) tranceformer ----- 09 Base Sport 6MT 12.860 @ 109.09 mph 1.921 60ft street 5) FPenvy ----------- 09 Tour Sport 7AT 12.899 @ 110.74 mph 1.950 60ft street 6) chuckd05 --------- 09 Base ----- 6MT 12.926 @ 108.97 mph 1.980 60ft ET street 7) Eighties Meta ---- 09 Tour Sport 7AT 12.933 @ 107.26 mph 1.920 60ft street 8) One_Quick_Z ------ 09 Tour Sport 7AT 12.984 @ 108.87 mph 2.026 60ft street Stock 370Z's STOCK WITH STREET TIRES 1) jmarcel88 -------- 09 Base ----- 7AT 12.938 @ 108.31 mph 1.972 60ft 2) b1adesofcha0s ---- 09 Tour ----- 7AT 12.986 @ 107.46 mph 1.967 60ft 3) Speedy ----------- 09 Tour Sport 7AT 13.080 @ 105.14 mph 2.083 60ft 4) tranceformer ----- 09 Base Sport 6MT 13.127 @ 105.27 mph 1.890 60ft At thunder valley my friend did 12.6 @ 111 mph with full bolt ons(including 4.08 gears, rear end from 6mt swapped in for gear change) and 1.9 60 foot, it's a 7at.
