Hello, everybody.
I am new here, and I would just like to say that this site is awesome!!!

Anyway, I have some info. on the camaro that i wanted to share. I was at the Chevy dealership today and I asked one of the "most informed" dealers there if he new about any new info. on the camaro. He said that the word is the camaro won't be out until late (Oct.) of '09. And, that will only be the V6. The V8 won't be out until a few months later...like 2010.
Is this new news? anybody have anything else, please let me (and everyone else) know.

That is wrong... there will be a limited run in October of this year, but those cars won't be for sale. The saleable production cars will be produced in the 1st quarter of 2009. Last I heard was February. And I never heard anything about the 6cyl being produced first. I read an article in Motor Trend that said that the 8cyl would be out first. Most of the folks that work in the dealerships have unreliable information.

The dealer sounds very misinformed... Very misinformed...

Look for the first Camaros to show up about this time next year with the convertible towards the end of 09...

For the most part, the people at dealerships are NOT car guys. And I mean really, they know very little about the product other than the lines they need to make a sale. They tend to be people who just like selling stuff and making money...
