OP's Response to FAST Performance in Cypress. The Previous Thread Was Deleted

Yes there are 2 sides to every story. The point of this is to help 1 person not go through what we did!!
There are plenty of people that are contacting me with their issues with this shop. Like I said before this is wrong and people shouldn't have to go through this. I hope this doesn't get deleted but if it does- its a shame to not give people the right to make their own decision.
Like the response says this was their first FX1 install but we were assured they could do it and get the car to 1000hp with no problem. That was always the goal from the original quote done October 22nd.

So having shared that with you- the additional requested items were requested in November. Car still not running in March.
The "integrity" of the build posted on Facebook was a posting of the cog belt being installed wrong. I am quite sure, had they know it was wrong, they wouldn't have posted it on the WORLD WIDE WEB!!

The problems with the "kit" from Procharger should not have been my problems to deal with and fix. I had to call every day to get an update for them to tell me they still didn't know what the issue was. I had to call procharger myself to get the "facts" of the problem. They sent a procharger rep out who stated there was nothing wrong with the procharger. It was at that point they decided the clutch pressure plate was the problem with the tune/ dyno test completion so we paid for a clutch upfront....tuning still could not be completed.
They were just grasping at strings as to what the problem was and knew that when they called us to "suggest" another broken part or a part that we needed to get to 1000hp- we were at their mercy to just get the car running and out of that shop!!

1300 ID injectors were installed and then when they couldn't tune the car- they called to say we needed 2000. So once again pulling at strings "hoping" they could fix their mess!!

As for re-built motor with all forged internals from another shop- ARD- OWEN- ABSOULTELY NO ISSUES! The motor is strong- as advertised.

As for $50 fix man- that amount is in reference to fixing what we had VS spending another $5500.00 for something that wasn't technically needed.
He has also informed us that the TR6060 that was removed and "shipped out" to RPM doesn't shift and we cannot get proof that RPM ever rebuilt TR6060. And even though final invoice shows 2 oil changes we are being told "In this case its fuel washed cause it has giant injectors that were not dialed in right. Going to flush some bulk junk oil and a fresh filter through her before any dyno runs happen".

As a customer you come to a point where enough is enough. Being told "I am sick of you and you are sick of me" isn't customer service. Sorry you are "sick" of me calling to get status of MY car that YOU have had for 5 MONTHS and CANNOT FINISH!!!

As for the day of picking up the car-after being told the above quote- we were told we had to bring CASH for the balance of the car!!!! Then when we got there we were told to go inside, the invoice was ready for us- as an employee is spraying Windex on the car and wiping it down. I guess this is the "cleaned and buttoned up" reference.

Employee inside was VERY disrespectful and upset with us, I guess since he didn't have the invoice ready. We said we have paid for everything over the phone already, you have our credit card- just finalize the bill and send us a copy. He then told us to get the F$%@ out of his office and wait until
he had the final invoice ready.

Small shop, large shop, no shop- a customer is a customer and you don't do that to "customers". So yes, I think this would make anyone angry- being treated like crap, a car that has been in shop for 5 months being put on a tow truck, and horrible customer service to top it all off!!

We are still waiting for the cam specs that we were told we would have immediately since we were assured the employee had given us the wrong ones. We were told if there was something that was not right, that they did, they would refund us for that part. That hasn't happened either. Catch can is too small, piping is too small, injectors are wrong size and now we are at a stop since the transmission won't shift properly and fuel pump not installed properly.

FINAL INVOICE IS 3 PGS LONG SO HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE- 2/28/15

Job Total: 18,830.49
Parts:$15,815.49
Discount: $1385.00
Hazmat:$0.00
Supplies:$3.00
Tax Total:$1,190.77
Repair Order Total:$22,974.26

Thanks for providing the other side of the story.

In order to avoid taking sides, just want to say that I am glad that both involved parties have been able to state their respective points of view. Was concerned when I saw the other thread closed- that to me is censorship, and should not be allowed. The discussion was civil enough, and nobody was blaming anyone.

Mods, let's let this stay, please. If we are going to allow one side of the story, we ought to allow the other. Either that, or delete them both. Fair is fair, regardless of whether we like it or not.

Holy crap dude. You choose the 2 worst shops in Houston. You've obviously got the money to get your car done at a "real" shop like KP Racing or PowerFab or G-Force. Very sorry to hear this but you obviously left ARD for some reason. Just glad to hear you did.

First off why did you allow them get the ID1000's in the first place they only support like 95 lb/hr an hour? Running E85 to support 1000 flywheel horsepower you need at least 102 lbs/hr. Secondly the only injectors compatible with E85 by Injector Dynamics that I know of is the ID2000's, yes, which go for nearly 2 grand. Still, I am no ASE certified mechanic. Sure that sucks, I wouldn't want that to happen to me, that's why I research and install everything myself. Only when I need it tuned will I take it to a REPUTABLE shop who has experience in tuning those specific setups. None of the, "this is our first time" kind of deal. It's like sex for the first time, the service is weak and worthless. Usually those end up in first time **** ups and excuses. Obviously it is a lesson learned to do your research next time. As for the shop, shame on them for lack of knowledge and experience. I would never sell a job that was within the limits of my intellectual capacity.

Someone noticed signs were gone and doors padlocked a couple weeks ago.
