stripes don't look as good if not lil past mailslot

imo stripes don't lok nearly as good if they don't pass mailslot by a little bit. i'll probasbly go w/o stripes now. anyone else feel the same way?

i do like the BB stripes that go over the mail slot but i would have to see what the production stripes look first to judge

I'm still deciding what color to get so stripes is not my first priority.

off topic: thank you for not calling it a hood scoop

+1. I'd like my stripes to extend all the way the the end of the nose like on the 1st gens, but with no pinstriping.

IMO stripes shouldn't go past the front edge of the hood or rear decklid.

But I'm a big stripe hater in general anyway...

I agree, it looks unfinished. It almost makes the car look like it was fully striped, the driver rearended somebody and had the car fixed but was too cheap to put the stripes back on. Between the fact that they stop at the hood, cost almost $500, and that they are vinyl, I plan on having mine painted on. A friend of mine works in the body shop at a Chevy dealer and said he could paint them on for $400.

It's been shown... to lazy to look for the pics but it was on the Saving GM special. It's possible that could've change by now, but unlikely as that stripe setup is easier to install. You guys have got to remember that stripes that go past the mailslot should go IN also... otherwise it'll look a bit strange with black stripes surrounding a yellow filled hole. No prob for me though... BLACK ON BLACK BABY!

Okay dumb question here, the stripe on the side in this pic, is it on the hockey stripe models or what?

Yes, That is the hockey stripe.

If I remember all Camaros have always had the racing stripes past the hood

although the stripes aren't 100% correct. It's only from the width. but they go past the hood.

Yea, but this is the first Camaro that comes stock with a slot to mail off your car note.
