Hazards and dome light come on by themselves

As the title states, my hazards and interior dome light come on when I go through the traps all by themselves. They will not shut of until I pull back into the pits and shut the car off and cycle the key a couple times. I'm sure it pisses off whoever I'm running and it's pretty annoying.

I've tried pulling the abs fuse and relay, that didn't work. I know the hazards are controlled off the bcm. Any way that I can cut the wire to them? I'm not running wheel speed sensors, wondering if that's doing it?

Are you 4l80 swapped? Curious if we share that aspect?

I had a very similar issue when the voltage regulator on my alternator crapped out... It reset when it cooled a bit and then happened again... It was putting out the proper voltage but any hard pull would drop the regulator out and some of the same things would happen again....

I ended up pulling the alternator and sending it in for a look see... Thy replaced the voltage regulator and called it good to go...

My hazards came on, the dome light, the stereo etc... Voltage dropped to 12 volts, (battery) and all kinds of things lit up...

Hmm the alternator is only a couple months old but who knows, anythings possible. It didn't do it my first time out with the car it's only been the past 2 outings with it. I will try and keep my eye on the voltage next time out. Thanks

Mine was a little older but it had way less time. About five passes at the mile. It's electronic. Who knows.

I've had the same problem twice. Usually happens after hard launch only. Runs are recorded on computer, voltage drop not at issue. Most likely a product of the body control module, at least that's what we figure. Yes I am 4l80e swapped more than 2 years ago.

interesting, it can't be coincidence that were both 4l80 swapped. I went to the track again last night and it didn't do it....

I just had this problem happen to me tonight. Just got the car back from changing the gears and made a pull. Hazards came on. Turned car off, cycled the key and started the car the lights turned off. Made another pull, lights on again.

The only things I've changed since this has happened have been the gears and trutrack (shouldn't have anything to do with it) and I put some Corbeau FX1 pro seats which got rid of the airbags and sensors.

Setup on the car is TH400 5300 8" stall, cam and bolt ons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ill check my grounds tomorrow. I tried letting the car sit for 10hrs with the negative cable undone just to see if that might help but it didnt.
